Tax Disputes

In light of today’s real estate market and the new re-assessments made or soon to be made, tax disputes are becoming increasingly common. The way in which you go about handling your dispute is critical to your success. An Appraisal to determine market value is a very good way to determine if the tax assessment is indicative of the current market value in your area.

Should you feel your assessment is not indicative of the market value for your area or neighborhood, consider getting an Appraisal to satisfy your belief. We would suggest that you do some due diligence of your own so as not to waste your time and money by looking at the tax records for your property and talking to your neighbors that have what you believe is a similar property (house and land) to your property.
